I remember some 10 years ago, male friends of mine used to get together
to watch "The Killer Tomatoes". It would always play very late at
night. I never did see it.

Actually I believe the full title is

"The Attack of the Killer Tomatoes"

When Nashua first got cable my family got the "The Movie Channel"
and this was a film they used to seem to run alot. It supposed
	had/has a cult following ...

I LOVED that movie - saw it only once as a late-night movie, but the memory

My local Blockbusters has a whole category now called "Le Bad Cinema".
Contains many of the movies mentioned here.

My favorite along these lines is "Dark Star". Very entertaining, and
the special effects were *very* low budget. The alien was made from a
beach ball, and one didn't have to look too closely to see that the
space suits were made from vacuum cleaner hoses and muffin tins :-)

Bridget Fonda? Not there. You must mean Carrie Fisher.
Tim whats'isname from "Home Improvement" plays
the scummy husband. Very strange to see the geeky
Tool Guy playing the desirable, cheating spouse.

As a closet Rik Mayall/Ade Edmondson fan, I have to
admit I liked it too.

Yes, Bridget Fonda played Anabella. Carrie Fisher was wicked funny too
when she was stomping on and throttling the air! I never recoginized Tim
Allen as the husband. Seems weird, I'll have to watch it again. I love
that movie!

It's a puerile, annoying, rather stupid movie. It
couldn't be otherwise, starring Rik Mayall, but
I like him. Bridget Fonda's Annabelle role is not
even a cameo, it goes by so fast.

    Attack of the killer shrews

A classic, loaded with cheap props and fx. This gem I love so much
even had the ( very young in this ) deputy from the Dukes of Hazzard
as it's hero/tuff guy. The killer shrews were dogs with shag rug and
yarn tied, glued, stapled,( however they did it), to thier bodies.
The shrews also appear as stuffed deer heads with fangs, poked thru
    holes in a fence.

    I've got two-

Serial Mom- corny movie, but some of the murder weapons and reasons are
                a riot!!

Dead-Alive- This is a movie about some weird disease that kills people,
but they remain alive as weird people-eating zomies. Extremely
gory, so don't eat before you watch this.

I consider myself a horror movie buff, able to stomach the worst
of gory effects and gruesome details, but Dead Alive must be honored
with my "Extreme Warning" label. For example, (more funny than gross) a
zombie's intestines and other guts were chasing the hero through a
house. And also, the hero defeats a horde of zombie's with a lawn
    mower. Very messy..EWWWWWW!

Happy Viewing now that I sparked everyone's curiosity,

Went through about half the topics to see if this
type of category had already been created. Didn't
see it so....

I rented a movie last night that was totally
mindless, had some bad acting and worse dialogue
and yet.... I still enjoyed it and actually
watched parts of it twice. The movie in question
was "Aspen Extreme" and I rented it because of
a discussion on "Due South" in the tv conference.
I had seen a couple of movies with Paul Gross
(Cold Comfort is pretty good if anyone is interested
in others he has been in) and noticed this one
on the video shelf. It also starred Finola Hughes
and Peter Berg. I guess sometimes we (I) are just
in the mood for a *tres* light piece of fluff!

What movies have you watched and enjoyed (although
you wouldn't want to admit it)?

Lifeforce - Gorgeous, naked Vampire aliens are brought to earth by
Astronauts and take over London! Panned by most, but I think a lot
of people took it seriously, rather than as a spoof, schlock horror
B film, which it works really well as (maybe _I_ misunderstood it?)

Saw it recently on German TV and noticed none other than Jean-Luc
Picard as the lunatic asylum head (That's Patrick Stewart to anyone
    who doesn't watch ST:TNG :^)).

Lifeforce is truly a classic. I haven't seen it in years but
remember it well. One nude, very attractive female vampire, is
brought back to earth by an astronaut who has fallen in love with,
or under the power of her. The rest is just classic vampire / alien
movie stuff. Not as cheesy of a monster movie as I normally like
but this gets a thumbs up!

A British shuttle mission to Halley's Comet discovers an alien
spaceship inside the comet. The shuttle crew retrieve 3 bodies, 2 male
and 1 female. During the return journey to Earth, the contact is lost
with the shuttle. When the shuttle arrives an investigating team
discovers burnt corpses and 3 alien bodies which are taken to London
for investigation. At the same time, one of the shuttle crew is found
having left the shuttle in an escape capsule.

The aliens escape, go on the rampage and take up residence in St Pauls
