after discussing things with the neighbors, who have a block party
in june every year, we may be combining our efforts and having a RAGER
on June 29..day after the allmans'..I believe one blues band is coming
and if Steve-O Martin's band gets off their high pedestal and stops
holding out for $2k for the gig, we may have a second band..None other
than NIO facility's Elastic Waste Band...
Soooo to make along story short......keep the first and the 29th
    open...

It will be in a nice side street too..Kinda like a free concert on the

June 1 AND 29 are both a go so here are direx to the chateau in Manch..

coming from Mass/NH up 93 or down 101 from the seacoast..
take 93 north into manchester.DO NOT get on 293...this will take you to
mall central and push you closer to traffic induced suicide...
stay as if you are going to concord and get off at exit 9 south ...
9 north goes to hooksett and comes up first....
follow the ramp down and merge heading south. You will pass Shorty's
roadhouse and a mall with a Shop and Save.At the set of lights go
straight thru..pass a d'angelos/chinese restaurant and come to another
set of lights..continue straight past car dealerships and a couple of
Fleet banks and you will come to a Y intersection..Dunkin Donuts is on
your right as you are part of the Y..veer right here, I believe it is
Webster or Union St..go thru a set of lights at a Cumberland Farms and
Liberty St is the next left, before Bunny's market...
Number 83, 2 family with lead laden paint chips all over the yard

coming up rte 3 from so NH or Mass

go straight up 3 north and take the Amoskeag Bridge exit, Number 6
at the end of the ramp a rotary starts and take your immediate right
and go over the Merrimack River..
You will now be at a 4 way intersection with the Bank of NH building on
your leftGo thru the set of lights, crossing Elm Street. You go thru 2
more stop signs, crossing a one-way street each time..
Liberty St is your third left.Come to another stop sign and go straight
    thru that.
83 Liberty is the fourth house on the right...
refer to lead laden paint chip description in paragraph one..

Be there early, be there often
any problems getting there ,excluding the need for bail money, can be

Chris, if the Panthers win the Cup, I wouldn't call it goin in the sh*tter...
I'd call it parity...beating the Bruins, Flyers And Penguins is not a sh*tter
team...it just happens that they play in FLA...if all the players were from
FLA, that's a different matter, but they have Americans, Canadians, and I think
they have a Soviet player...yaknow that guy Whobitchercockov !!!

I also agree with the sentiments that pro athletes are paid too mch, but I feel
that goes for anyone who has made it to the BIGS in the entertainment field,
like actors etc...

	Chris_Mon_Ami,

I beg to differ about what city has the rights to a team.
Just because hockey originated in Canada doesn't mean it
shouldn't be played elswhere. I'm all for expansion into
areas that can support the game. IMHO Hockey is the greatest
sport and having pro teams all over the US is great. That is
as long as it's supported there. Hockey has really gotten a
boost from their Florida teams. Heck Tampa Bay has set
attendance records for a game! Even though I hate when the
Panther fans throw rats on the ice (Plastic ones for you sports-
-challenged individuals) Hockey in Florida is a good thing!

besides when I retire to Fla i'd like to watch hockey on Tv
while I eat my Alpo 8-)

Geez, picking on hockey in FLA _and_ Bruins fans ? If the B's were
in the Avs shoes, the whole city would be going nuts! B's fans wouldn't
have anything to complain about ;-) and would be more than happy to do
    some Stanley Cup chanting...

As far as FLA hockey goes, I think it's goodness. They are good fans,
and they are really into it. It's good for the sport. So what if it's
in the south. With the invention of Air conditioning, I don't think it's
much of an issue. Back in the old days, with outdoor rinks, that was
a different story. There's lots of hockey fans in FLA. My brother
just moved north of Miami, and he's really psyched to be able to catch
    a hockey game there.

They play baseball in Montreal too.

as far as hockey in the south i think, IMHO of course, the sole reason
is for television expansion into new markets.,....
What happens when little Johnny Miami goes to a Panthers game and gets
    all excited about playing???
he can't strap his CCM's on and head down the end of the street for a
    pickup game....
No, he puts his sneakers on and goes out to play in the road....

And the argument about baseball in Montreal is a valid one.....

527.58but then I seem a bit strange at times...SMURF::PETERTrigidly defined areas of doubt and uncertaintyFri Jun 07 1996 15:2312
Actually I think little Johnny straps on his roller blades and
plays street hockey. The surfaces can be a bit rough when you
wipe out though. Growing up on Lon Guyland, NY, I can't remember
any of the schools having hockey teams, and that's really not
that far south of MA, where some of the more affluential
schools do. But there was still a long tradition of
hockey with the Rangers, and later, the Islanders. So I can
see Chris's point, if not totally agree with it. But it does
seem a bit strange at times.

Agreed that the overall reason for hockey in FLA is $, driven by
the NHL's desire to expand. God know there's a lot of $ out there,
look at the ridiculous contracts... I know it isn't headed my way
    though :/

But anyway, what happens when little Johnny Miami goes to gets all
excited about playing ? From what I hear there are lots of rinks
down south, especially in FLA, so he'd do just like a kid growing
up in Boston would do: drive the 1/2 hour to a rink, and play lots
and lots of street hockey (if ya can stand the heat in FLA, thatis )

Hockey warm weather indeed...a guy on my softball team finishes our games, and
heads off to the rink...and his name is Lemieux :)))

speakin' of warm weather, JC , howz the bugs ?!?!?! :)))
I love this weather...DRAMA has played some outdoor gigs of late, and as da ve
or any other noter/giggers can attest, OUTDOOR GIGS ROOOOL !!!

Yes, I'm shouting, 'cuz they rool, and it's worth shouting about...last week
it didn't exactly rool when one of my 'boards (synth that gives me all my
organ/string/brass etc sounds) had to take a break from the heat...it went and
overheated on me, 2nd song ito the party...finished the whole 1st set piano
only, put a fan to the synth, under an umbrella, it was a trooper for the rest
of the gig...which included KAren sitting in with the band playing her Congas
with the band...

Playin a party, outdoors, crankin' the 'boards, drinx, eats, and the little
wifey sittin' in with the band, bangin the congas...THAT ROOOOLZ

:)))

I have a torn ligiment in my right wrist that bothers me constantly.
Just typing agravates it. I'm afraid pounding on anything for a while
causes it to ache more than it does normally. Falling down when you are
old is not recommended...i don't break, but i don't bend too easy
    either.
