Mystery, about the interpretation you sent me: I did read it,
I did enjoy it, but I -didn't- delete it...it's too cool.
(but, not to worry, I won't forward it to anyone)

I confess, [getting back to the topic,] I haven't checked 'em out yet.

Everytime I look for the Picture of Nectar CD friends 've recommended to
me, stores have it marked up to 15.99. That's the MLP. I took a
  religious oath against paying MLP.

Boston-area music store managers definitely all wear dresses. - JayC.

Gee, and I thought Chris mentioning he liked wearing dresses was a hit he
was forming a Phish cover band :-0

I like Phish and it doesn't bug me that Fishman or anyone else (David
Bowie, Mick Jagger, Steve Tyler, etc.) enjoy wearing "women's" clothing.
Heck, Mel Gibson wore a kilt in "Braveheart" and now he's up for the
Academy Award. I say wear what you like. Me, I like women's underwear (on
women) but the sight of a woman in a pair of silk boxers is also , um er,
inviting :-)))))

I have never been to a Grateful Dead show.

I've felt a little bit guilty hanging out in this conference, but it's
so damn comfortable here...and I *do* love the music, I've just never
heard it live. And now I never will...I deeply regret passing up my
sister-in-law's offer of tickets to Highgate '94...we were closing
on our new house.

Dan, that's OK...I "only" saw them 10 times, and Jerry solo twice...which pales
in comparison to folks in here...but when I tell folks "Yeah, I saw the Dead
10 times and Jerry twice" some folks say "you saw them 10 times ?!?!?!"

it's all a matter of perspective...I was fortunate to see my first show in '78,
so I saw Donna (again, depending on perspective, others may say I wasn't so
lucky :) ) , I saw Brent, I missed Bruce Horsby (I was at the back of the bus
for a while) but I saw Vince...I'm happy to say that I did get to 1 show with
my wife (Highgate '94)

I wish I'd seen them more too, but no use wishin for things that can't be...Dan,
now you gotta see the Deadapalooza tour with Bobby, Mickey etc...

and TAPES !!!

Same with me!! I have had this nagging guilt since MNELSON turned
me on to this conference when I started work here in July of 94.

I love the music, have heard many many cover bands--and saw Jerry
solo once in Albany...but have never been to a show. I was so sad
when I heard the news..because then I knew I never could!

Plus--I feel like (even though I am usually read only) I know many
of the people already in this conference--and always care about what
happens and what is going on. It was so great to find a group of
caring, like-minded individuals when I started my first "real" job..

    thank you,

being a deadhead is a state of mind. Always glad to meet others
with a similiar state of mind. Philosophically, we can be different.
We are just linked by a love of the music.

That's the wonderful thing about confession...it relieves guilt!

Thanks to all for the kind words...
