WCUW (91.3, Worcester, Massachussetts) has a weekly show called
Grateful Radio, featuring live Grateful Dead tapes. I do the show.
It is now on THURSDAY nights at 10:30-midnight.

At Midnight, immediately following Grateful Radio, is Glasnost Radio,
featuring live tapes of other bands, and often running until 5AM.

Program schedules will be posted as replies to this note.

caught the latter half of the show last night Andy... nice job
as usual... what were you playing from 75? it was just winding down
when i tuned in... Kezar?? also, very strange staticy noise that
kicked in for a few seconds (during Cassidy i think)... sounded like
something with the transmission rather than the tape (only cuz i have
noticed it before on CUW)... were the winds playing havoc with the
    transmitter or something?

This Week, Grateful Radio presents "Grateful Singularities", a show consisting
entirely of the least-played songs from the Grateful Dead. Most of your
suggestions will be incorporated if I have the tapes (and thanks to Ken
for backing up some of his suggestions with tapes)

Included will be:

	Kansas City, from Worcester 11/5/85
Some songs from the Rainforest Benefit, 9/24/88
Songs from the "Omni Soundcheck" tape and other practice sessions.
	Money Money, from Vancouver '74
	Visions of Joannah, from Hampton
	Hideaway, from Harding Theater '71
Are You Lonely for me, Baby, from the Hell's Angels party '72
	much more...

	suggestions still welcome

This is our fall fundraiser, so we will be extremely grateful for any donations.
Tie-Dyed WCUW T-Shirts will be given to anyone who donates $35 or more.
Please give generously. If the Dead come to Worcester in the spring as
is rumoured, we want to be able to broadcast the shows. To do this, we
need for you to demonstrate your support.

Hi,

If you don't currently listen to WCUW, and if you think you may be in listening
range, tune it in. Turn off the TV and turn it on. Its not blah blah blah
braindrain radio. It will expand your musical horizons. Then, while you're at
it, donate what you can. The government doesn't donate much to non-profit radio
(if any) anymore. If you have been listening to the DEAD show on WCUW, and you
haven't called in your contribution yet, please do. This type of station is
becoming an endangered species. DEC will match your contribution too.

So, who is going to take over Andy's responsibilities at WCUW? I'm sure they'd
love a volunteer. I'd be glad to offer access to my collection, but i don't
have the time to actually sit in a studio for up to eight hours at a time...
