This is correct. JJ Cale penned this song along with the song Cocaine, which
99 out of 100 people would probably say Eric Clapton wrote.

Well Jamie,.. I was never sure about it either (hence my two

trying to tell the young lady that his loving is a real man-sized
lovein and that she ought to check out his lovin (I'm gonna prove
every word I say) in comparison to those "boys" who she is

I know everybody was just dying to hear this, but I think I was the only

Wasn't Owsley the inventer of some very pure acid back when the stuff
did exist.? Seems to me I remember reading he used to put it in pill
form, and then stamp a mickey mouse or a donald duck on it. I think
he used to keep it in liquid form also, hidden in a bottle of Blue

Actually, Owsley didn't invent what he sold, he just repackaged it. In
'65 or '66 he somehow acquired a barrel of lsd (it was legal then) from
Sandoz and made about 2.5 million hits (I believe he used brightly
colored blotter paper) over the next couple of years. For those just
joining the program already in progress, he used to twiddle the knobs
for the Dead. However, Sly Stone was the resident engineer for Autumn
Records (home to the Beau Brummels!) at the time the Warlocks recorded
    their demo album.

    I KNOW THE ANSWER!!!!!

/name told me once of an experience he had while at a show once...
This experience involved him and his uncle Sidney... You see, they
were at this show together, and when /name intensely focused on Bobby
during one song, Bobby's nose started out as normal (i.e. 2 inches).

Then /name looked again, and Bobby started to turn from side to side.
As he did so, /name saw Bobby's nose pass over him (i.e. 150 feet long)
and was able to look up his nostrils!!!!

    So the answer is....

    Bobby's NOSE!

I remember that story. That was the drum that belonged to the Guyoto

Providence or Worcester, but that's unlikely.

I made the same comment when I first heard Deadicated! I guess they don't like
7, or just decided to give the song a new spin. 7 and 5 are some of my
favorite timings! BTW, one of Sting's new songs (the one that goes "love is a
big fat, <mumble mumble mumble>") is in 7, and the band does an excellent jazzy
jam to wind down the song. It's hard to keep up with!

give me some time to think of an answer...

Luck, pure luck. After catching the bus, I flipped when I heard
that it was Jerry doing the pedal steel on that song. I really
like that sound......... So much, that I keep waiting for the
day when Jerry decides that he's finally learned to play the
guitar, and brings the pedal steel back out...... That would
be amazing to hear him play it in concert, or on an extended jam...
