| Yup, I got one. It's kinda like the CZ1001 but WITHOUT the ability
to change/modify the sounds. They (100 of them) are all preset.
Keyboard is a mini-key 4 octave. 20 built-in rhythms. 10 programable
rhythms. About 15 percussion sounds (snare, bass, hi/lo tom, hi/lo
bongo, open/closed hihat, rimshot, ride, cowbell, clap, etc). on-board
'sequencer' with 199 bars worth of storage. Pitch wheel adjustable
from between 1 semitone to 1 octave bend range. MIDI in/out/thru
mono or poly, 16 channel. Outputs to (i) headphones, (ii) line out
for both kbd and drums, and (iii) separate drum sounds output.
List price is $449. I got mine from Lechmere for $350.
Just got the SONUS MIDI interface for my C-64 last night. Works
real good. See note 429 for more info on the interface.

| The CZ230S has four programmable voices, but programmable through
the midi only. It was a good choice for me, as I am not really a
keyboardist ( I hunt and peck ), I am a guitarist. I don't want
to sink a pile of money into it, I just want something to connect
with my ST to give me a drum and bass line, with maybe some highlights
thrown in for good measure.
Note 490.9 has the Midi spec. With the ST, there are a couple of
PD patch programs.
