Look in the first 20 notes here in the conference for a list of dealers.
Most are in NE/NY.

Boston: E U Wurlitzers
         La Salles
	 Daddys Junky Music
         etc

NY: Sam Ash
         Manny's
         etc

Also look in an issue of keyboard magazine for the big ny stores.

In New York, the main music store area is on 48th street, approximately
in the vicinity of 6th avenue or Avenue of the Americas. You don't
need no store names... just wander around there for a few minutes
and you'll find what you're looking for.

To be more exact, the NYC music stores are on 48th St, between
Sixth and Seventh avenues. Closer to Seventh.
      They are:
Manny's (check out the pictures on the left wall)
Sam Ash (3 different stores: Kybd,PA,and Commercial)
               Alex Music
We Buy Guitar (used guitars..anything imaginable)
               Several other guitar stores.

Somewhere between your stops of New York and Boston it would be
in your best interest to stop over in New Haven, Connecticut.
There is a very professional store named Brian Guitars you should
check uot if you get the chance. Tel. # is 203-387-4492.

2339.8Chuck Levin's in DCDYO780::SCHAFERBrad - boycott hell.Tue May 29 1990 17:4827
A very excellent music store in the Washington DC area is Chuck Levin's
Washington Music Center on Viers Mill Road in Wheaton. I don't
remember explicity directions (it's been almost 8 years since I lived
there), but it seems to me that you do something similar to the
    following:

o get on the north side of town using the beltway

o get off at rt 46 (? - here's where I'm not clear); go north
toward Wheaton and Univ. of Maryland

o get in left hand lane and stay there until you can bear off
to the left on Viers Mill Rd (I'd give you landmarks but
	   they're likely gone). I think it's around 5 or 6 blocks.
When you pass a big church complex on your left, you'll have
about 2 or 3 blocks left to go.

o bear left on Viers Mill; go a block and a half - the store is
on the right hand side of the road.

There's minimal parking in front, and a lot behind the store; the
driveway is just beyond the store ... look for a few Mercedes
automobiles sitting off to the right and turn just after them.

Number is 301-946-8808. Great place to snoop around.
