280.0. "Negative Line A offsets?" by CADSYS::DALTON () Mon Oct 24 1988 16:07

	Does anyone have a complete list of the negative Line A offsets?
They've been discussed on usenet but I didn't save them then and I don't
have S.A.L.A.D. ? Any help would be appreciated...

280.1No help here..but I'm looking toMILRAT::WALLACEMon Oct 24 1988 17:366
    I asked the same question in 174.0. The reply I got was to look
    in the LINEA.H file that comes with MWC. However this .H file only
    contains the "positive" linea offsets, it does not contain the negative
    linea offsets.

I'm sure they are there - Microemacs uses some negative offsets with
numbers out of the distributed LINEA.H. Perhaps look closer - there's a
trick in there where the #define something into the array index of
[-1], and then do positive offsets from that base.

Sorry about asking the same question twice didn't see 174... Still,
I don't have MWC... so If anyone compiles a list from the MWC header
a post on the findings would be appreciated. I'll keep looking for the
info, too...

280.4Don't you just hate tricksMILRAT::WALLACETue Oct 25 1988 11:485
    I'll take a closer look at LINEA.H, when I looked before I was looking
    for a bunch of negative offsets, so with this trick I probably missed
    it.
