2869.0. "Park Amps" by NEST::CURRY () Tue Dec 21 1993 13:52

I did a DIR/TITLE and didn't find anything about Park practice amps,
so I guess I'll start one.

I'm interested in buying a practice amp and these seem to be a pretty
good value. How do they rate, as opposed to Fender, Marshall, Crate,
etc.? I'm particularly interested in the Park 25R. (A 25 watt unit
    with built in reverb)

    Any thoughts/opinions?

    thanks!
    Mike

There is mention of the Parks in here *someplace* The Parks are the
same amps as the low-end Marshall Valvestates, but are built in Korea
rather than England. The price difference comes to about 20% which is
    significant.

So, feature-wise they are basically the same as the Marshalls.
Soundwise? Your ears will tell you.

I think the previous discussion of these little amps was in the
    Marshall topic.

I got sick of carrying my 100W Carlsboro everywhere so I bought a G10
last week to use with my bass and it sounds great. It produces a good
volume from the bass before distorting or buzzing. The only similar amp
I can compare it with is a Squier 15W and the Park sounds much better.

    regards
