2518.0. "Jude Cole" by NAVY5::SDANDREA (What, me worry?) Thu May 07 1992 18:04

I did the dir/title routine and didn't see the Jude Cole note! I
listened to his 1st (and only?) CD on the way to New England last
Saturday (even tho I've had it for almost a year) and I really
appreciate it more than I did when first bought it. I find him, clean,
tasty,a nd versatile as a guitarist, and I really like his songs.

My favs: (I *think* these titles are right...I don't have the cover
    with me)

    Hey Steve,
Speaking of Jude Cole. We used to do a Jude Cole song when we
first got together as Storm. It was a pretty fun song to play, but
never went over to well with the crowd so we dropped it. Drop me
a mail message with your phone # so I can call you sometime.

track.......what a superb tone.

Gotta listen after the record......Who??? did the DJ say Jude Cole ?? What
was the track called?? ......something to do with a car?
( I noted it down, must look it up)

Off I go to the local record stores.....hello mister HMV got anything by Jude
Cole???.........never heard of him/her.

Okay, so where can I get an album/cd of this guy IN THE UK??

"Start The Car" by Jude Cole. It's off his second album.

Someone told me that he used to be a member of The Records (ok, who else
remembers "Starry Eyes" and "Teenarama"?), but I haven't checked my old
Records records to see if that's true or not.

My band does "Start the Car". It goes over quite well. Of course
it is quite new, which helps.

The latest track from the CD is "It comes around".

Folks,

It's me again, I went home last night and found the piece of scrap
paper.........

I have written down Start the Car and It Comes Around. I assume "start the
car" is the track, and "it comes around" the cd title?

I would appreciate it if any of you could advise where I can get the cd
in the UK.

Dunno whether the CD is available in the UK or not....

I went home last night and checked out my Records album, and it didn't have
Jude Cole listed as a member. Maybe he was in a later incarnation, or maybe
the info was incorrect.

2518.12Any other data??TRUCKS::LITTENWed Jan 20 1993 14:0016

Okay, if you don't know if the CD is available in the UK, could someone be
kind enough to post here any other details that may help me try and order
it.

For example what is the album/cd called that has "start the cat" and "it comes
around" on ?

Also what label is it on, and does it have any other ordering type data that
would help me?

Thanks in anticipation.

re .last .. you're welcome.
Incidentally, "Start the Car" is actually on Reprise (owned by Warners).

I got the CD last Saturday, and (on the strength of a couple of listens)
I would say that the title track isn't particularly representative
(it's "harder" than other tracks, which I would class as "melodic rock").
