2080.0. "CAN SOMEONE FIX MY GUITAR?" by MEMCL1::GRAHAM () Thu Jan 17 1991 14:30

    I've got this old, beat-up telecaster copy that I want to
    recondition. I understand that I can send away for a few
    parts (tuning pegs and EMG pick-up) from a Stewart MacDonald
    catalogue. Is there an address for this catalogue? And
    once I get this stuff, is there anyone who could install
    it for me cheap? I'm not a guitarist, but the thing is
    sitting around gathering dust and I'd like to use it for
    recording purposes asap. Any suggestions would be most
    appreciated!

    Unless something's changed recently, I recall that they didn't have the
    active EMG pickups which are the desirable ones. They have mostly
    Schaller pickups and EMG Selects (the budget pickups by EMG).

    I'll sign up for helping refurbish your Tele when you get the parts.
    I noticed we have the same address, so it would be convenient. Send
    me email and we can get together.

    regards,
    John
