Robert Johnson - King of The Delta Blues Vol I and II (so much that I could

Deep Purple - Made In Japan

Eric Clapton - Crossroads (yeah, I know its cheating bringing along a 4-CD

***Three!!**, what kind of a sadistic mind would only leave room for three
cds ? You gotta be able to fit a least two changes of clothes, a
spare pair of sneakers, and 15 cds in a strat case.

the problem isn't where your going, or space travel..it's your luggage :)

(And yes, thanks to the guy who also pointed out that the Sea of Tranquility
is on the Moon.. I just hope the guy the said Mars aint ever driving the
tour Buss to Bunker Hill...)

I'm STILL thinking of just three I'd take. That's tough.
But these last few replies I have to comment on. I know the
Beatles aren't considered to have set any precedents in the
guitar playing world, but after having extensively invested
in a Beatles CD collection I would consider Paul's bass playing
to particularly stand out especially for the sixties. I KNOW
he isn't Billy Sheehan, but he shouldn't be slighted.
I'll get back to thinking again...

The Beatles may not have won any awards for ground breaking guitar
solos, but in my opinion, they played some very tasty guitar licks.
To this day, I still love listening to George Harrison, and his
last album (Cloud 9) contained some great guitar lines. Any doubts,
just listen to Devil's Radio, or the title cut. He also has the
good sense to ask Eric Clapton to back him up.

By the way, Ringo was on Johnny Carson last night. He is going on
tour with a band of super-heavy's including Joe Walsh, Niels Lofgren,
Carence Cements, and a host of others that I can't recall (It was
late). This should be a really tight band.
