1527.0. "Custom Cables ?" by CAMONE::ARENDT (DDT - The first and still the best) Tue Jul 12 1988 13:07

    In one of the previous notes I noticed a reference to a company
    called Redmon Cable for custom cables. I am interested in getting
    my Amy 2000 off my desk and onto the floor, and what I need is an
    extension cord for my keyboard. Do you think they would be able
    to make one? And where are they and what is their phone number?

    Thank you for your support

1527.3A2000 = PC keyboard ??CELSST::FISHERJohn Fisher @RTP | DTN 367-4451Sun Jul 24 1988 04:529
    I don't know for sure, but I seem to remember that the A2000 keyboard
    can use a standard I*M PC keyboard extender. Since I am also thinking
    of moving my system to the floor, I would appreciate it if someone
    could verify that one way or another...

    P.S. I you wait LONG enough, I just might get around to checking
    it myself !! (But it will probably be a month or more...)

    For future noters,

    To close this note the Amiga 2000 uses standard IBM PC keyboard
    cables. I currently have 2 on my keyboard and it works fine.
