Ed is working on getting the Usenet distribution back up on another
system. There is no way of knowing when it will be back up. Bellow
is Ed's latest note on the subject (from the USENET notes file).

We are currently trying. As previously mentioned, I have someone who has
volunteered a system, but is currently scrounging parts to get it operational.

As also previously stated, there is no way it will ever see itself restarted
on ROLL-ASHBY (I just spent the last 3 weeks having to re-justify disk drives
for my systems that were planned and budgeted for last year, justified when
they were ordered the beginning of this fiscal year, and have been sitting
on site waiting to be hooked up for over 2 months. And these were resources
needed for the work our group is chartered to do. I shudder to think what
trying to justify resources for USENET on ROLL-ASHBY would take.)
