Tried some mucking around with ANYTIME and VT100 this morning
(KS/WB 1.2, VT100 2.4, SHELL 2.05M). I logged onto the system at
work, then popped back to the SHELL window and loaded up ANYTIME.
Then back to the VT100 window at which time I invoked the ANYTIME
pallette and changed a couple of colours. After clicking off the
pallette window, I kept getting "unrecognized command" with every
keystroke (I was at the LAT> prompt) I entered. By the way, none
of the keystrokes were echoed! I then "de-installed" ANYTIME and
my keystrokes were once again echoed and recognized.
Moral - looks like you can change the default colours but must
"blow away" ANYTIME afterwards in order not to cause a conflict
with the VT100 program.
This obviously doesn't answer the question of why there is a
conflict, but at least allows the changing of the screen colours.
