    TRIVIA: Do You Remember the following? or I've been drinking too much
            coffee?

    I'm trying to locate a video tape that was produced several years
    ago. It was a video tape of Ken Olsen walking thru the mill, talking
    about digital when it first started, the history of the mill,
    the rennovations, and so on. I would like to borrow the tape
    for a new employee orientation.

    The Hunt Begins:

    I've contacted the Library Network and no luck (some do remember
    the tape).

    Called Ken's secretary and there are so many tapes that Ken appears
    in that it's difficult to know which one or where it is or what
    group prepared it.

    Any help would be highly appreciated.

553.1Saw it at KSO orientation many moons ago...COOKIE::WITHERSSN*W is a 4-letter word!Thu Jun 16 1988 16:116
    There was something that sounds very similar shown at CXO/KSO
    orientation when I joined 4 1%2 years ago (sheesh, that's strange
    to say), along with a corporate culture tape and the ``Digipaste''
    type comercials. You may want to try CX01 or CX03 personnel.

    Hi,

   	I saw this tape at my CSC orientation in November '87.

    	You might try contacting Pat Franz (Education and Training),
    	here at CX03, and perhaps she could locate one for you...

553.3Tough to find - but worth it...CRUISE::JWHITTAKERThu Jun 16 1988 19:138
    I remember seeing the tape myself, at a quarterly meeting in Marlboro.
    However, I don't know who made it or how it can be located. It
    was interesting, and if you find it again, please let others know
    how to get it and who to contact. Thanks in advance. Happy
    sluthing...

553.4Answered in ASKENETDR::BLINNPut a REAL pinhead in the Oval Office!Thu Jun 16 1988 19:395
        A reply in ASKENET identifies the tape as "KEN OLSEN DISCUSSES
        CORPORATE PHILOSOPY". I'm surprised it's not available through
        the libraries. I too would like to view it.

    If this is the one you want, several of the Libraries here at DEC
    _do_ own it.

    The DLN listing has it located at APO, MKO, MLO, NIO, MRO1, & ZKO.

    Think I remember it from new hire orientation in '85. Someone nudged
    me and said, "Check out Ken's tie." Ever since, on the days I wear
    a tie, I've attempted to emulate the style.
