Don't know about any of the others on your list, but I can confirm Jay
Atlas, as well as add Bud Keating, Harry Eisengrein, Ron Eisenhower,
and Bob Long from the U.S. Area. These five were announced today in a
memo from Russ Gullotti and circulated through our group's management.
Since Roseann Giordano was one of the forwarders of the memo, it
appears that she is still on board. The five named individuals are
indicated as leaving Digital as of December 31.

FWIW, Don Zereski doesn't seem to be listed in ELF anymore.

Some of those names in .0 sound too good to be true. ;^) If even half of
them are it would be VERY interesting.

               DIGITAL EQUIPMENT CORPORATION ANNOUNCES
RESIGNATION OF VICE PRESIDENT DONALD P. ZERESKI

MAYNARD, Mass. -- December 30, 1992 -- Digital Equipment Corporation
today said that Vice President Donald P. Zereski plans to leave the
company at the end of the month. Zereski plans to consult with
companies interested in creating or expanding their international or
services business.
Zereski joined Digital in 1962. In his time with the company
he held a succession of management positions in Sales and Customer
Services, Engineering, Manufacturing and Product Support. He was
responsible for establishing many of Digital's international
subsidiary operations in the Pacific Rim, Latin America and other
developing countries. Zereski was transferred to Europe in 1983 and
was responsible for Field Service, After Market Sales and
Distribution of Digital's products. In 1985 he became Vice
President of Worldwide Customer Services and in 1989 he was named
Vice President of the US Area, completing this assignment in October
of 1992.
Zereski, 50, said of his decision to leave the company, "In the
30 years that I have spent at Digital I have been given many
opportunities to grow both professionally and personally. It has
been very exciting to have been part of growing Digital from a small
computer company to the global leader that it is today. At this
point in my career, however, I have decided to pursue other
opportunities in information-related industries."

"Don has contributed in many ways to the company's success
during his years at Digital" said Robert B. Palmer, President.
"We're grateful for his many achievements and wish him success in
his future endeavors."
Digital Equipment Corporation, headquartered in Maynard,
Massachusetts, is the leading worldwide supplier of networked
computer systems, software and services. Digital pioneered and
leads the industry in interactive, distributed and multivendor
computing. Digital and its business partners deliver the power to
use the best integrated solutions - from desktop to data center -
in open information environments.

I just received a message from my AGM who received it from, from, from,
... Gullotti stating that "On December 31, Jay Atlas, Harry Eisengrein,
Bud Keating, Ron Eisenhower, and Bob Long will be leaving Digital."

I know some of these took the SERP but had stayed on in special
`consulting' roles. Maybe that is the case of several of these,
    instead of being TFSO'd.

      I have never seen a person in a "V.P." position get "TFSO'ed",
    "Dismissed", "Terminated" or "Fired"

V.P.'s "Resign", "Open their own Company", "Move on to accept a
    challenging and exciting new position"....etc...etc..

Only "doo-bees" get canned, tfso'd, fired, terminated, etc...

If tough succotash was served up to these vp's, I'll bet it was served
in a gildded bowl, eaten with platinum utensils, and washed down with
liquid from a diamond studded silver goblet. Anyway, it was the golden
handshake, parachute, whatever. How many of these "fired" vp's do you
think are ina warm weather climate right now, "recovering" before going
    out to find another position?

Well 6 months later. It looks like the good source cited in .0 wasn't
very accurate. According to ELF the only ones from the list who are not
    here now are:

    Jay Atlas
    Don Zereski
    Mervin Lackey
    Lou Gaviglia

the other 10 still seem to be here. 4 out of 14 doesn't seem too
    accurate to me.

Time for an update. 6 of the originally rumoured 14 are now gone. Bill
Johnson and John Sims just got added to the departed list. Thus the
    following are not here now:

    Jay Atlas
    Don Zereski
    Mervin Lackey
    Lou Gaviglia
    Bill Johnson
    John Sims

Was the list really inaccurate as it seemed to be or is there always a
    delayed reaction for VP departures?
