    Anybody know if it is possible to do NEXT UNSEEN and SET SEEN
    through the WWW internet interface of this (and other) notes conferences?

    If so, how?

    Thanx,

No, it isn't possible.

Use NetNotes instead ... windows-based with all the features of the
character_cell interface that we all know and love.

5280.2Yabbut--what's NetNotes?NNTPD::"woolner@mail.dec.com"Leslie WoonerFri May 09 1997 15:1013
Is NetNotes something individual employees have to buy, or is there someone
within Digital who procures and installs it for us (if so, who)? Is it
downloadable from somewhere on the web, and if so, is it free, or only free
for 30 days and then it goes away, or free but requires a bunch of support
stuff you never heard of and don't know how to get :-)

Can you tell I've run into these dead ends before?!

Thanks,
Leslie

    Within Digital, NetNotes is free, and downloadable from the net.
    While it doesn't seem to be in active development anymore, it's
    quite complete (excepting markers) and 10**6 times better than the
    web interface. Check out ISVNET::NETNOTES.

    And print out the .doc file which is in that directory. You need to
    read the long string of the numbers for the licence off the example
    screen shown in that .doc file.

Actually, the license number is displayed right on the page I pointed to. (And
you can cut and paste it to avoid typos.)

The only problem I've had with it so far is trying to add myself as a
moderator to conferences.

Isn't NetNotes the same thing as Teamlinks Conferencing?

    Fwiw... someone created an empty netnotes on top of the real McCoy
    an hour ago. You'll have to access ISVNET::NETNOTES;1

	They did that with the exchange notesfile about a week or so ago.

Re: .-1, .-2

That should be reported to the conference moderator/system manager as it is
an indication that the protection on the file/directory is set wrong. A
non-moderator should not be able to create a new conference.

5280.13"remote node not found" errors...MSBCS::MUMFORDTue May 13 1997 13:276
    I installed the NT kit from the server. I set up this conference in
    the local Notebook, then tried to open it. I get "remote node not
    found" errors. Same result with several other conferences. The "Read
    Me" doc didn't help. Any suggestions on what I might check into?

Let NetNotes convert your notebook file for you, and all should be
well.

Are you having trouble with all conferences, or just a few? Is your
router node valid?
