We have an opportunity in the Pacific Northwest to help a municipality
retrieve data off a year's worth of Exabyte tapes (approx. 780 Gbytes).

Would any of the Hot sites be able to help us?

We are under a quick turnaround, as all 780 Gbytes has to be searched
by February 8. We are thinking of using up to 10 VMS machines, each
with at least 4 Gbytes of disk. We would then attached Exabyte tape
drives to each machine. We would probably need to rent the Exabyte tape
    drives.

Any suggestions, contact Dominic Lau at DTN 545-4054 or @SEO immediately.

The only site I know of which might not help is at NJO in New Jersey.

Call Dan Wierzbinski, Manager of Business Recovery Services, at DTN
450-5809 about the use of one of the three US HOTsites - California,
Chicago and Miami. I have no idea if they'll entertain this request,
but he's the guy that can tell you. He's at @MRC for A1 mail. Good
    luck!

You may also want to contact Salem with the old CVG group. They always have
many machines and disks.

I believe this issue has been covered. I got this from a conversation
with the original author of the request today.
