1357.0. "Movie passes -- gone with the wind?" by WHELIN::CASHMAN () Fri Jan 25 1991 16:44

    Does anyone know if DEC (in Massachusetts) still has deals for
    reduced-price movie passes? They seem to have disappeared from our
    local personnel smorgasboard.  Thanks.

1357.2They don't accept the passes for special movies...CADSE::MACPHERSONWed Jan 30 1991 20:182
    Be aware that most of the movies that you REALLY want to see do not
    accept the passes. Mine have a tendency to expire before I use them.

    In New Hampshire, I found that the first "n" weeks of running a
    new feature that was expected to sell out resulted in the theater
    not accepting the passes. Invariably in the last week or so of
    the run they would accept the passes because they had already sold
    as many high priced tickets as they could. The problem is you
    may want to see the movie before all your friend tell you about
    it and the passes generally will not help with that.
