Hi,

I have been trying enroll a SNMP MIB supplied with NCD Xstations (ncd19c).
Unfortunately I cannot get the MIB to compile - the translator complains
that is has hit a syntax error on line 6.

Can anybody help - pointers to what to do to "fix" the mib definition !
(Using ULTRIX MCC T1.2.7 - file warshp::mib.txt)

Mark,

	The reason MTU is complaining is because this mib (warshp::mib.txt)
contains the internet mib (mib II) along with ncd's extensions (with a little
cmu stuff thrown in as well). 

	What you need is a mib def that contains just the ncd definitions.
I've taken the liberty of editing the mib you sent me, I got rid of the
mib II and cmu def's, added a BEGIN statement and fixed a couple of syntax 
errors (misplaced commas).  You can find the new ncd mib at 
danzo::danzo_user:[carr.public]ncd_mibdef.txt.

    Thanks for the fix/translation.
    
    It will be interesting looking at the customers 800+ NCDs using SNMP
