No, because the 'simple name' is not defined as an identifier of the
global class, but is in child 'lat' attribute 'node name'.
It's a design issue that probably isn't going to be changed.

| Of course you can cheat if you network entities don't take up the whole
map. Just drag the long name to the outside of the map where it will
never be seen and use the toolbox to add the servers name as simple
text. We do this for all the facny reference icons on our map that
don't require names, such as modems, delnis, satellite dishes etc.
