3769.0. "Automatic start of Collection AM Event Sink" by SOURCE::HARB () Fri Sep 18 1992 13:52

Is there a way to have the Collection AM Event Sink automatically
started upon invoking DECmcc? I can't seem to find an answer to this
    in the documentation.

    Thanks,

You *probably* want to start the Collection event sink at *system* startup, not
when you start DECmcc in your process. I believe that the V1.2 installation
includes a startup .com file for the EVC sink:
	SYS$STARTUP:MCC_STARTUP_EVC_SINK.COM.

Look at that file, edit it and include it in your sys$startup:systartup_v5.com
some time *after* you do the other MCC startup files.

I believe there is already a startup line in SYS$STARTUP:MCC_STARTUP_BMS.COM
and you only need to uncomment it.
