2793.0. "TCPIP Diagnostic AM and T1.2.7" by BELMNT::BEAZLEY () Fri Apr 17 1992 19:27

    Is there an update to the TCPIP diagnostic AM, or do we just reload
  the current flavor on top of T1.2.7?

       Just Wondering,

    I would not reload any previous MMs (AMs, FMs etc) on the new
    baselevel. I expect that there will be a new TCPIP Diagnostic AM
    soon.

The TCP/IP DA FM is part of the "Fault Diagnostic Services" package,
which was announced in the same note as BMS.

2793.3Where is FDA kit?MAIL::CLAYTONMerlin Clayton DTN 445-7217Mon Apr 27 1992 17:558
In the base level update announcement for 1.2.7 I saw reference to DECmcc FDS,
but where is the kit and what is the name of the kit?

2793.4FDS kits...DANZO::CARRFri May 08 1992 20:4126
For VMS,

Directory PPINC::DUA0:[MCC_KITS.MCC_V12_EFT2]

DECMCC-FDS_PAK.COM;1
MCCTCPIPDAT012.A;1
MCCTCPIPDAT012.B;1
MCCTCPIPDAT012.RELEASE_NOTES;1

For Ultrix,

Directory of mccnix::~ftp/pub:

-r--r--r--  1 ftp      15438 Apr 16 18:45 mccfds120.release_notes
-r--r--r--  1 ftp      1095680 Apr 16 16:19 mccfdsmipst127.tar

       This directory is not readable. You must copy the files by explicit
        name rather than by wildcard. Use either

          dcp -iv mccnix::~ftp/pub/filename .

        or use anonymous FTP to mccnix.lkg.dec.com

        The tar files should be unpacked with "tar -xvf filename",
        then installed with "setld -l ."
