1413.0. "Can't do SHOW...ALL STATISTICS" by DUCAT2::64544::LICAUSE (Al Licause (338-5661)) Wed Aug 28 1991 14:27

    Customer has installed the V1.1 director as in the kit under order
    number AQ-MB64B-BE. He was a field test site for V1.1 and was able
    to do the following:

    	MCC> SHOW NODE4 LINE SVA-0 ALL STATISTICS

    Now when he tries this, he gets:

    	Unsupported combination very, entity, partition

    The hotline is telling him that he needs another module or version
    or kit.....?????

    Was this function pulled from the basic V1.1 kit and/or does it
    require the Diagnostic AM?

    thanks,
    Al

1413.1No PA FM in the DirectorCSC32::WOESTEMEYERWhy??...Why not!!!Wed Aug 28 1991 17:5117
    Al,

    Since I'm the one that talked to the customer, I'll fill you in here.
    They were a filed test site for the BMS kit, which does contain the
    Performance Analyzer FM. Now they have installed the release director
    kit, the DIRECTOR does NOT! contain the PA FM.

    For reference see the pictorial on page 1-5 of the Director Use Manual,
    compare it to a similar prictorial in on page 1-5 of the BMS Use
    Manual. You will see that the BMS kit contains the PA FM, while the
    Director Kit does not.

    Its simply a matter of not installing/purchasing the the correct kit.

    Steve,

    thanks very much....once I get straight with how we're packaging this
    thing, I'll pass it on to the customer.
