    Is a draft version of "Guide to Developing Manageable Entities"
    available? On-line?

Check the list of documents in the v1.1 SSB kit announcement. There is
a "Management Module Programming" book listed, among others. In the
earliest stages of an MM project, you will need to read the Entity Model
and then a copy of the SRM (which is hardcopy only).

    Thanks Ruth. Actually I have read all three manuals
    you suggested already. I was looking for the document referenced in the
    DECmcc PID.

    Gee, I never heard of that document, and I should have 8^)
    Could you be more specific about it?

That title sounds vaguely like a paper I once wrote. Perhaps you are looking
for the EMA Folklore document. Anyway, you can find the key EMA documents
in
	FILES::EMA$:[Public]

start with the file

	FILES::EMA$:[Public]README.FIRST

Among other things, the latest version of the Entity Model is in there.
