638.1No events yetMKNME::DANIELEFri Jan 18 1991 16:3511
	Do you mean the Get Event directive?
	Yes, you are correct, there are no events defined for SNMP.

	Remember, you have the V1.0 TCP/IP SNMP access module, which was
	released concurrently with DECmcc BMS/Director V1.0.

	The next release of the TCP/IP SNMP AM is planned to provide event
	support ( by mapping SNMP traps ).

638.2Access Module support of Events in MCC V1.1TOOK::MATTHEWSFri Jan 18 1991 18:408
    I believe that the only Access Module for which Get Event does work at
    this time is the Node4. I do know that Get Event for Node (DNA5) will
    not be available for DECmcc V1.1 FCS. I am fairly sure that this is
    also true of Bridges and Ethernet Stations. I can't speak for Terminal
    Servers, FDDI entities, and/or any third party developed access
    modules.

638.3Node4 is it...CHRISB::BRIENENDECmcc Bridge|Station Management.Fri Jan 18 1991 20:444
Get Event support will NOT be available at DECmcc V1.1 FCS for: Bridges,
Ethernet Stations, Terminal Servers, SNMP, or FDDI entities.

But it's looking pretty good for most of them in the V1.2 timeframe...
