2046.0. "quasirandom set of points in the square" by TDCIS4::ROTH (Geometry is the real life!) Fri May 17 1996 15:06

   Let c be a real constant and define a set of n points in the
   unit square for integers i, 1 <= i <= n via

	x[i] = fractional part of c * n * (absolute value of cos(i))
	y[i] = fractional part of c * n * (absolute value of sin(i))

   For what values of the constant c if any will the distribution of points
   in the square be uniform as n -> infinity?
