Amoebas reproduce by splitting in two once a minute. Suppose
you put one amoeba alone in a glass. It takes an hour for the
glass to become completely full of amoebas.

    1. Suppose you started out with two amoebas. How long would
it take the glass take to become filled completely?

    2. Suppose you started with one amoeba. How long would it
take for the glass to become half full?

This is easy (I think) 2^n is the number of them at each minute.

    2^0 = 1
    2^60= Full

The extra ameoba means you start at t=1 instead of t=0.

    My answer is 59.
