I could take him or leave him. Not impressed overall. Did like him in
the bicycling movie (the name escapes me at the moment). Thought he
was terrible in Robin Hood POT.

Liked him in "No Way Out". He's pretty irresistible, but
no Olivier, that's for sure.

| I liked him in "Dances with Wolves". Haven't attempted to see
Wyatt Earp yet, probably cause I liked Tombstone so much that
I think see KC version wouldn't be worth it - and from what I
have read/heard it is much too long.
Liked him in No Way Out (loved the ending) and in Revenge. Not
one of my all time favorite actors but he is OK - should be
interesting when his new movie hits the theaters. I will be
curious to read the notes in here about it never mind what the
critics say about it.

| Yes, "American Flyer" is the right movie. I thought Kevin
was great in "Bull Durham" and "Field of Dreams" I think
everyone getting on his case now is the usual habit people
have of waiting until someone gets really successful and
then getting pleasure out of tearing them down. Okay, he
wasn't great in "The Bodyguard" or "RobinHood", but those
movies made a lot of money, so somebody must have liked
them! I just rented "The War" and, even though it didn't
last in the theatres" I thought he was pretty good in that
too.

I didn't know who he was until he became successful.
So how was I supposed to criticize him before I knew who he was?

No, "Field of Dreams".

[Can't we all just agree to disagree on his "best" movie? I mean,
that's like trying to agree on the best song ever recorded, which
is, of course, "Roller" by April Wine. 8^)]

Yep. I think the point has been made. Let's not belabor it.
