John Cusack is a kickboxer-in-training who falls for a somewhat
rich girl, Ione Skye. And he does, basically, "say anything",
IE, he rambles quite a bit.

| Apart from the song, the story line was good also. It was a "feel
good" Movie. The girl he falls in love with, is a rich girl, right,
but more stress is put on her intellegence. She's the valedictorian
and he's....a kickboxer. She's played by Ione Skye (Leach - she
dropped that since her last movie... The Rivers Edge). She is a very
beautiful woman, and daughter of Folk Singer, Donovan (who also doesn't
use that last name). The title "Say Anything" applies to Lloyds (John
Cusacs) "Nervous Talking thing", but also applies to Diane Courts (Ione
Skyes) relationship to her father (Played by - I forgot his name - but
he's Fraiser's Dad on the popular sitcom of the same name).
Excellent movie.
