Took my 9 yr old daughter and my 12 yr old son
(who brought a couple of other 12 yr old friends).
My daughter and I agreed, it was a waste of time.
Had a few moments but.....
The boys thought it was good and enjoyed it.
I do not know. This movie just did not have it.

I saw it a week ago....pretty lame, a couple amusing scenes but not
nearly as good as the original..
I thought the original Ace Ventura and Mask were great. but his last
two movies just don't measure up...

by last 2 movies, do you mean Batman Forever and Dumb and Dumber?
I loved him in Batman Forever. Dumb and Dumber was a "Dumb" movie
but a real hoot. I didn't expect anything else so could enjoy every
single little schtick they used! :)
I hear Jim Carrey's next movie is called "Cable Guy" and he gets 20
million bonzais to do it.

| I tried to talk my 11 year-old son into seeing Get Shorty with me this
past Saturday. But I let him pick the movie whenever we go together,
and he HAD to see Ace 2.
It was humorous, but not really a scream. I never really cared for
the original Ace, either. So Ace 2 didn't have to live up to anything
in my opinion. I do like Carrey, though and think that Dumb and Dumber
was a panic; much funnier than either of the Ace movies.
Not bad.

| My two boys, ages 14 and 17, are BIG Jim Carrey fans. Neither liked
this movie, and the younger one went so far as to say he hated it. The
older one said Carrey was funny, but there was no story.

wow!! I'm so shocked because during the previews here in England
I laughed my @ss off!! I guess they aren't a good indication of the
entire movie.

The girlfriend picked it up on video. What a waste of time and
money. I think there were only two parts I thought that were funny.
It looked like Jim Carry was just going through the motions on this
one. Definitly not as funny as the first.
