202.0. "Super Mario Brothers" by ESGWST::RDAVIS (Not so genteel as real gentlemen) Tue Jun 01 1993 15:37

Mojo Nixon plays a folksinger. I knew it was him when he said, "The
    King is everywhere."

The starry-eyed young lovers are handled better than they were in "Much
    Ado About Nothing".

I saw it, I didn't expect much, and I liked it. Not "I'll dash out to
see this again" liked it, but for a movie based on a video game, it
    wasn't bad.

And it does answer the question of what Mario and Luigi's last name is.
    :)

ET said last night that Super Mario Brothers, the movie, is
actually a prequel to the video game. Of course we all know
    the game came first.

Is this the one where Bob Hoskins reprises his "Brazil" role?
