Does anyone know if there are stock data ( historical and actuall ) available on the easynet ( or internet ). I'm looking for values from (US, Japan & Germany ) Thanks in advance for any hint or pointer /rudi;-)

This question has been asked before.
There's no free source of stock quotes or historical prices for all
stocks on the EASYNET.
On the Internet, there may be, but the "Whole Internet User's Guide"
does not list on and I've tried to learn of one and been unsuccessful.
COMPUSERVE, PRODIGY, etc. all sell stock quotes and history.
Perhaps some small BBS's may have very low cost quotes and historical
data, but I don't know of any.

US "High Technology" stock prices are posted every day on the internet
on "clari.tw.stocks".

While not on internet the Farpoint BBS does offer FREE downloads of
historical stock data..They have only stock data and you are limited
to 2 hours of time logged on a day...Just the price of a phone call to
Chicago... 1-312-274-6128...Note that this is listed in the manual for
Parity a windows based stock charting program.

Stated purpose: "To collect publicly available market data in one
place so people can FTP it easily." Donate *freely redistributable*
data or access same via anonymous ftp to host name dg-rtp.dg.com.
Fetch the file pub/misc.invest/README for more information on formats,
content, etc. It is NOT a real-time, 15-min delay, or close-of-day
quote server.
