1209.0. "Info Needed on Tucson AZ" by WAV13::BETZL () Thu Mar 22 1990 10:45

    My friend is going to Tuscon, AZ this April to visit
    her sister; she is interested in buying a Quarter Horse.
    Does anyone in this area know of any Quarter Horse
    Farms that she can look into???? Any info
    will be helpful.

    Thanks

    Lori

    Dale Livingston is a top trainer in Carefree Arizona. His number is
    602-488-1487. He might be able to offer some advice in horse dealings
    in that area.

    You might also want to look at the Quarter Horse Journal. They have
    ads in there from brreders and trainers from all over the country. You
    should be able to find an issue in most tack stores that carry western
    tack.

    Another thing you can get from the Quarter Horse Journal (the January
    issue I think) is the AQHA judges in that area. Many of them are
    trainers/breeders themselves. In fact, it lists the judges occupations
    in the list too.
