Try getting a copy of What Car, and looking at the section on new cars at the
back, (and the pages full of adverts just before these)

You'll find a lot of lease companies there advertising their deals.

    This weeks A & M have a few pages on all the contrcat deals which
    include BMW select, Ford Options, Merc Finance/mileage agreemnts,
    peugeot passport, Rover select Finance, Vauxhall choices 123 and
    volkswagen solutions. Looking over them some say they don't include
    insurance but others don't state, could be worth a phone call though.

2107.6Volkwagen or Audi anyone?CMOTEC::POWELLNostalgia isn't what it used to be, is it?Mon Jun 28 1993 16:477
	VAG now have a Contract Lease scheme for company car drivers (especially
low company mileage ones) who wish to take the company's cash alternative and
provide the car themselves. I don't suppose other manufacturers will be far
behind if it proves successfull.

That Vauxhall scheme is *NOT* cheap....you'd do better to finance a car
yourself if you can afford it.

	I looked at these schemes, not just Vauxhalls, they all looked
	expensive, and you had to put a deposit down too!

	On an individual basis they might be expensive, but when were talking
about the amount of cars DIGITAL runs - we maybe pleasantly surprised !

	Don't forget that the lease price from VAG, Vauxhall etc. may well
include more than just the cost of the car. It might include servicing and/or
replacement car if "yours" is off the road for more than a specified period etc.

	Might not be so expensive in the long run!

2107.12Tax allowable expenses....YUPPY::MACMILLANAFri Jul 02 1993 17:315
    Don't forget also that the hire purchase or lease costs can be claimed
    as a tax allowable expense (prorated as per ratio business:private
    mileage) Need to do some sums before discarding the options.
