2055.0. "V3 EFT1 - Message Reply causes GPF" by WKOL10::STETSON (Think Digital Software!) Thu Mar 13 1997 10:38

    Environment: Windows 95 with Service Pack 1
                 TeamLinks V3.0 EFT1
                 Running in Online/Connected mode - network
                   connection.

    After reading a message in the Inbox on an ALL-IN-1 server I click the
    Reply button. I see just a hint of the Create Message window and then
    get the infamous black screen with the message:

    	Windows

    	A fatal exception 0E has occurred @ 014F:BFF9A07C
    	The current application will be terminated.

    	* Press any key to terminate the Current Application

    	* Press CTRL-ALT-DELETE again to restart your computer. You
    	  will lose any unsaved information in all applications

    	Press any key to continue

    I pressed the Enter key and got the same message. This sequence was
    repeated four more times (total of five times) and then I get a dialog
    box on a black screen:

    			X400mail

    	X400MAIL caused a general protection fault in
    	module KRNL386.EXE @ 0001:0005b0c

    			Close

    I clicked on the CLose button several times to no avail. I had to
    power cycle to restart the machine.

    Plesae advise if additional information is required.

    THANKS!!

    Rick

2055.1PTR please?TAMARA::redear.zko.dec.com::tamara::cummingsJerry Cummings, TeamLinksThu Mar 13 1997 12:439
Would you PTR this? I think it's note 11 that describes how.

Also, as mentioned in another note, check your
default printer. Possibly the editor control
that we embed is in panic because of some properties,
or lack of, regarding the printer.

Jerry

    I believe this is resolved in EFT2.

    Anybody care to disagree?

    THANKS!!
