136.0. "* DEADlax anyone? *" by JURAN::SYMONDS () Wed Feb 27 1991 16:09

I've been heading to the Hartford shows for years now.......
To me, that trip just isn't the same without spending an afternoon
on the southern shores of Ct. tossing a lacrosse ball around the
beach, breathing in the cool spring (sometimes fall) air, and just
getting `mentally prepared' for the show!

Our lacrosse club carries the same informal funtime kindof attitude.
Being an avid enthusiast of Jerry's fan club as well as an enthusiast
of fun exercise, I hope that some of the noters in this conference
     will give DEClax a try!!

  Digital's Recreational Coed Lacrosse Club
  a.k.a. DEC re~lax

To: All the, like, way cool people who like, like way cool games!

  From: DEClax Officers

  Subj: Fun and Conditioning!

This spring marks the beginning of our 5th season playing lacrosse
at Digital! Like the New England Blazers, the Digital Lacrosse Club
has become increasingly more popular over the last few seasons, and
this year we hope to grow even more!

DEClax is a group of Digital's men and women with a range of
playing experience; some of us have never played before joining
        the club.

If you've got the coordination to play hackey sack, fling your arms
and legs rythmicly to Phil's base or even twist while you drive (?),
like you should have no problem coming up to speed playing DEClax!
We've even got extra sticks for newcomers, and that's really all you
need to give it a try!

It is strictly a non-contact game; we meet twice a week, warm up
for about 15 minutes then split into sides and play! Gloves are worn
by a few players. Shots on net are kept low and slow. Passing,
setting up plays, and just having fun while running off the weekend's
indulgences are really what it's all about!

DEClax provides * complete * body tuning as it works both the
upper and lower body, as well as your cardiovascular system!

DEClax also features biseasonal BEACHlax outings! We pack all
our lacrosse gear into a lobsterboat with clams, lobsters and
burgers, and show the Backside Cranes Beach Crowd how to have a
        good time!

1991 Season Signup will be held during the third week of April.
Opening day will Tuesday, May 7th.

Please contact one of us for more information!

		          Andy     @ CadSys::Wiggin
		          Ken      @ BigQ::Symonds

We're looking forward to a great season!

Where do they play ..... its been years but I'm game especially minimal
contact....don't know if I could do to many man ball drills etc.?
Matter of fact don't know if my left arm is rendered useless but if
its close I'd love to give it a try again.

We play Tuesdays just off rt 495 in Marlboro @ Assabet Voc.
school. Thursdays we are open to move to a more convenient location
for others - maybe further north up 495, depends on how many
from which area are interested. But we are flexible.

`DEADlax'!!! I like the ring! Hope to see you (and more)
come on out to give it a try!!

Hello out there! Oh, I just thought I'd give a try to see if
there were any of you out there who are still out throwing the ball around
in these parts of the world.
I'm new to the Hudson area, actually I just started here about
three months ago. I played lax in high school for three years and also
in a men's league in Charleston, South Carolina briefly.
I'm still very interested and fully outfitted to play team or even
just toss a little. Right now (at least until) I'm living in Marlboro and
would just like to find a little lax action. If you're out there and play,
drop a line.
