Just a little update on my dad (author of the letter in the
basenote).
He's progressing fast! His running is going well, although I don't
think he'll be running sub 6min miles anytime soon. ;*) There is no
pain and he's modified his diet to low/no fat. Racing is on the
horizon, or so he tells me (he's the die-hard of die-hard runners).
Right now he is sticking with his training runs of around 6 miles or
so.
I only hope I can be as tenacious a runner at 50+ yrs old. :)
