New POLYCENTER User Group and Upcoming Conferences

What are Computer Associates' plans for POLYCENTER?

Most POLYCENTER clients are very interested in knowing what CA is planning
to do with the POLYCENTER products which were acquired as part of the
alliance. To meet this need, CA will have an audio teleconference to cover
"CA's POLYCENTER Strategy Update." This teleconference will provide the
latest information and an opportunity to ask questions of CA's most
knowledgeable POLYCENTER experts.

This teleconference will last approximately 45-60 minutes and will be
repeated four times:

   * Tuesday, November 19, 1996 @ 3pm EST, US and Canada
   * Wednesday, November 20, 1996 @ 7am EST, Europe and Far East
   * Monday, December 9, 1996 @ 3pm EST, US and Canada
   * Tuesday, December 10, 1996 @ 7am EST, Europe and Far East

To register for the audio teleconference, please call 1-888-423-1000.

New POLYCENTER User Group

CA would also like to maintain direct communications with our POLYCENTER
clients, therefore CA is encouraging the formation of a new POLYCENTER User
Group. We want our development and support personnel to establish active
and ongoing dialog with our clients. This user group will allow you to
impact CA's decisions on the POLYCENTER products.

CA defines a user group as a closely associated gathering of CA users
dedicated to helping each other discover the full potential of CA products
and solving specific problems through the sharing of information, support,
and insights. CA believes that a user group provides an educational benefit
to end-users by helping its members to explore and discover information
about applications, products, services, and other opportunities.

To help establish this new POLYCENTER User Group, CA will be sponsoring a
series of five meetings:

   * London (Slough) January 21, 1997

   * Washington, D.C. (Herndon, VA) January 29, 1997

   * San Francisco (Alameda) February 5, 1997

   * Chicago (Lisle) February 12, 1997

   * New York (Islandia) February 19, 1997

To register for the POLYCENTER User Group meetings, please call
1-800-676-4321.
