Song Selection - same old junk is what goes over best...
Club Mangmt - ranges from dishonest to inept
Sound & Lighting - you very rarely get what you pay for
Do I sound bitter?? Nah, just a bit jaded. The things listed above are
what make gigging a pain-in-the-ass. However, once up on stage and
going at it, this other stuff just melts away and it all seems
worthwhile again (plus I get to go out every weekend, playing R'n'R,
drinkin with the boys and staying out all night and my wife doesn't
mind as long as I bring home myself and the $$$...)
