601.0. "I can't access DRUMS notesfile" by CUPMK::WIEGLER () Tue Jan 25 1994 14:07

I haven't been able to access the DRUMS notesfile (ESGWST::DRUMS)
lately. I keep getting the message:

Remote node is not currently reachable

Has it changed nodes? It is up and running? What gives?

Willy:

It appears that ESGWST has changed its address to 10.285. Update
your network database (or get your system mangler to do it). In the
interim, you could use 10525::DRUMS instead.

Oh yeah? Well, drummers don't want to be anywhere near musicians
    anyway!

wrong answer, you see, dawg is NOT a musician, he plays guitar!

    The right answer is:

-< How many dawgs does it take to change a drumhead? >-

Zero, let the fakkin drummer change his own head, after all, he just
    sits there the entire gig!

dawg (who NEVER considered himself a musician, and has nothing but
    respect for *good* drumers)

In the face of ever constant abuse, is ESGWST a part of our
    	network or what?

What be up wit' d'is conference, is it no longer with us?

I guess 'drummers' are no longer necessary, so the conference
    	was removed?
