45.3BOC ON TOUR FOREVER!DELNI::S_KENNEYFri May 08 1992 13:2315
    You have to move and scramble fast if you want to see these guys. They
    are on Tour now but you have to keep a sharp ear peeled. I do have this
    one confirmed.
       On June 12th in Peabody, MA. at a night club called OVATIONS.
    Believe it or not it is connected to a Holiday Inn. It is on Rt 1 in
    Peabody. If your heading North on Rt 128... (Rt. 95 same thing). Take
    the 44A exit. You will be bearing to the right. When you come to a set
    of lights the Holiday Inn will be on the other side of the street. You
    will do a U-Turn at the lights. Ovations is next door. Tickets are
    $12.00 a head and the doors open at 7:30. You can also get them through
    Ticket master.

    See you there!

45.4B.O.C. CANCELLED AT THIS TIME...DELNI::S_KENNEYThu Jun 25 1992 19:426
    Seems the B.O.C. are being tough.....They cancelled the show on the
    12th and moved it to the 26th. Now I have heard the 26th has been
    cancelled also.....Not good! There is no re-schedule date either,
    at this time.

    Hey Crazy_BOC_Al,
       What do you mean "...Bikers will be there..."? Have bikers
     become a breed of human that we must prepare for? I don't
    quite understand. I thought bikers were everywhere. It's summer
    time, bikers are part of the atmosphere. Mentioning a Flea Market
    is one thing, but...hey, will there be any Volkswagons? Will this
    be another Altamont? Please explain for this old biker.

    couldn't thik of where they would play. Now that the word is out
    I called the Northboro Fish and Game. Gate will open at noon as
    most of you know. The B.O.C. should be on about between 3 and 4 pm.
    Tickets are at the gate. $10.00........To get there, take exit 25
    off of RT. 290........get off the ramp. If your coming from Worcester
    Take a left. If your coming from Hudson/Marlboro take a right off
    the ramp....Look for Barefoot road on you right about 100yds.

    You are there!

    To all Bikers. Or anyone who rides a bike.
    I really didn't mean to classify bikers as anything.In fact I didn't.
    Death_Angle mustta assumed I ment that when I didn't say a dawn think
    about bikers.I just stated that they would be there.I guess I should
    have stated that I heard a bunch of Motor_Cycle_Riding_People were
    plannin on gatherin there.

45.13B.O.C. on Tour...FOREVER!DELNI::S_KENNEYThu Aug 06 1992 14:3018
    Well gang I got the pkg. So this is my last B.O.C. note. I did get to
    see them 6-28-92 at the Northboro Fish and Game. Along with some nice
    bikes. My favorite was a 1946 Indian Chief. Well this made it my 24th
    time to see the group. They are not dead and have some new material
    out! I happened to meet Sean Reilly from the notes there. If any of you
    hear of the B.O.C. playing please let me know....Since this is my last
    day here. Here is my home address and #. I also have boot leg CD's from
    across the pond. "The Thing" and "Nail it down" if you want copies.

45.14TECRUS::ROSTClueless and slightly slackTue Feb 22 1994 12:3611
    Just listening to a tape of the first two albums this morning. I had
    forgotten how good the early records were. While I think the band
    lost much of the magic after "Agents of Fortune", they still stand up
    as one of the best hard rock/metal bands of all time. What's most
    amazing to me is how well developed their concept was even on the first
    record.

    Anyone know the story behind how "I'm On the Lamb" mutated into "The
    Red and the Black?"
