I wasn't quite sure where to put this but didn't want to start
    	a new note.

Does anyone know of stores in the Southern NH, North Central
MA area that sell furniture covers? ie: material to go over
an old sofa or chair and make it look somewhat new again? I've
got a few mail order/catalog places but either what I want will
be backordered for months, or they don't have the colors I'm
    	looking for.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I live in Milford NH and
work in Nashua so something in that area, out to Keene or Salem
or in the Fitchburg/Townsend area of MA would be great.

    	Thanks!

You could check out Home Goods in Nashua.

Macys and Filenes sell these too. Some of really cheap--like $30 for a
couch slipcover. But some are in the hundreds of dollars.

They tend to come in two pieces: one to go over most of the sofa and
the other as a big garter to hold it all at the bottom and let a little
    ruffle show.

I was able to get a fairly decent one at Montgomery Ward.
I called HomeGoods but they were out of them. I paid
$49 for the sofa cover at MW. Saved me $50-100 over what I
would have paid through the catalog I had originally looked
    	at.
