    and, along those lines, what's become of Bruce Collier?   I miss

    I, too, used to work with Andrea (before her international relocation).
    
    She had a baby girl near the end of January.  They named her Bejin.
    (I don't remember the midde name).
    
    She considered returning to work part-time but that didn't work out so
    she's left the company.
    
    I spoke to her several weeks ago.  She's excited about spending the
    summer with the kids & is planning a trip to Turkey so that her in-laws
    can meet Bejin.
    
    If anyone wants her home number and/or address please send me mail

    I Worked with Andrea when she came back to the states.  I know that
    she had a little girl named Bejen(sp?).  She was working at IND in
    Marlboro.  I have left the group and dont know if she is still there 
    or not.

    I have sent Bruce a few messages, and he's still around - but
    apparently swamped so bad he can't read notes....

    Can we leave this note here and use it to locate folks?  With the way
    things are going at Digital, it might be very useful.
    
    I kind of get to know people through this file and would like to know

    I'm glad the basenoter enter this note!  I, too used to work
    with Andrea and had communicated with her until just before
    her maternity leave.  
    
    I think it's a good idea to keep this note here, but we
    may want to change the title to something like 
    "Where have the noters gone" or along those lines.

    Thank you so much, Terry and others for the update on Andrea.  I'm so
    pleased to hear the good new.  Terry, I hope it's OK if I send you a

    I asked one of the women that I use to work with about Andrea.
    
    I guess she quit work to stay home with the baby.

I spoke to Andrea this morning and passed along the well-wishes.

They're recovering from the chicken pox at her house.  Berk had them two
weeks ago, Andrea got them on Thursday and Bejin got them on Saturday.

Andrea said that she's almost over them but that Bejin is absolutely 
covered and that the bendryl is making Bejin hyper.  Sounded like Andrea
wasn't getting much sleep and is definitely looking forward to everything
getting back to normal.

     . . . alive and well and still working at the Mill.
    
    But I've had a somewhat zany winter/spring.  Even more than usual time
    to local politics: school system budgets (a disaster this year), a
    hotly contested school committee race (the good guys lost), and then
    Town Meeting.  Then my aging father developed health problems, and I
    had to practically start commuting to Chicago (he lives by himself,
    and my only sibling lives in California).  Something had to give, and
    it included Noting.  I have opened Parenting up a couple of times, but
    it is rather daunting when a quick inquiry comes back (as it did just
    now) with
    		4350 unseen notes
    
    At least I know that you good people have not been idle!  But catching
    up can not be undertaken lightly, or just yet.  But I hope to be back
    more regularly some day.  Meanwhile, regards to one and all.

    How about Carol Dubois?  I looked in ELF and she wasn't there -
    unless I spelled her name wrong or unless she just never was
    registered.
    
    Just wondering since I just realized I haven't seen a note from

    She probably has a lot of catching up to do before she gets

Yep.  I'm doing the best I can to get back into notes and read what I 
have missed, but I was out for several weeks, so there are a *lot* of notes I
will probably never get a chance to read!  I wouldn't be on now if I wasn't
waiting for a live call from a customer. I've been upgrading my workstation,
taking customer calls, researching, reading hundreds of mail messages, and just
been BUSY!  I used to be able to read while doing other things but now I find I
am already doing 3 things at once and cannot add notes on to be a fourth!  :-) 

You'll see more of me soon, though!

    PARENTING seems quieter than usual.  Have we lost any contributors due
    to downsizing?

I think there are a multitude of factors involved ...

  busy people
  some peple laid off
  busy time of the year
  and the John Sims memo ... it seems to have impacted a number of notes
   files.

    Some noters maybe gone, but I for one am new...I hope to contribute
    where I can!  Brief history:  1st child born 1/1/91, baby girl born at 
    26 weeks, returned to work 9/91.  My focus will probably be
    developmental issues (I've had a lot of experience with NICUs and
    problems typical to premature birth) 
    
    This notes conference has been helpful to me as a reader, and I hope to
    help others when there is a need and as time allows!
