1187.0. "Looking for the "Bug Man"" by TNPUBS::BURNS () Tue Sep 10 1996 15:33

About a week ago (maybe longer..) there was an article in the Globe
about a fellow who did presentations for kids on bugs. I only glanced
at the article, thinking that I would get back to it later for further
details. But, in a moment of frenzied cleaning all newspapers were
whisked off to the dump, including that unread article.

I believe the bug man was from the Worcester area. Did anyone else see
this article? Can you clue me in as to his name? Or perhaps you still
have the newspaper with the article?

    Thanks,
    Evelyn

There wasa "Bug man" on the radio station KISS 108. He said he did
partys and what not. They gave a phone number but I of course did not
write it down :) Call the radio station.

A search in http://boston.com found the Globe article (at
    http://vutextgty.infi.net/global/cgi-bin/boston/slwebcli_get.pl?DBLIST=
bg96&DOCNUM=33621). I won't copy the article, but the salient points are:

article published 9/3; by Judith Gaines, Globe staff

Mark Berman, 36, heads Bugman Entoprises [sic] in Worcester. His
partner is Michele Bennett, 31, a neurobiologist and the educational
coordinator for the business. For "roughly $100" the business does a
1-hour presentation. No phone number was given, but the article
mentions that Berman is a naturalist at the Broad Meadow Brook Wildlife
Sanctuary in Worcester. (You could call Gaines at the Globe, maybe.)
