Have you ever been involved in a Parent-Cooperative daycare/nursery/
kindergarten? If so, would you be willing to talk with some folks in
Bedford, New Hampshire who are working on establishing one?
My daughter's kindergarten, which is also a daycare and preschool, is
being sold. Some of my friends are looking into what it would take to
turn it into a cooperative and would appreciate any pointers that you
may have - including:
Books and guides on establishing a cooperative
Organizations that might help
Your experiences

I've never been involved in a preschool cooperative, but my sister
sends her two daughters to a wonderful cooperative preschool in East
Derry, New Hampshire, the Nutfield School. Nutfield is located in the
East Derry Congregational Church. I don't have a phone number, but
either the school or the church should be listed.
Hopefully someone on the Nutfield School parents board can offer your
friends some advice.

My daughter's daycare (babies through kindergarten) is a parent-run
cooperative. The name is Applewood Learning Center. It is located in
Londonderry, NH. The phone number is (603) 434-3139. The director's
name is Susan. She can point you to the parents on the board.
