231.0. "Babysitting circle/coop wanted **Please reply by MAIL**" by CFSCTC::CCHEN () Fri Jul 17 1992 18:59

    Does anybody know how/where can I find a babysitting circle in
    Boston/Brighton area? What I mean by babysitting circle is that 5 or 6
    families form a circle and babysit for each others by turns on weekends.
    PARENTING_V1 mentioned to look for Newcomer's club or Welcome Wagon,
    but how do I go about finding these clubs? Telephone yellow page?

    My daughter is 6 mo old, and we lives next to St. Elizebath Hospital in
    Brighton. Anybody who wants to trade babysitting on Saturday/Sunday
    nights, please let me know.

231.3Wanted sitting circle/trade, Maynard areaWITNES::DUNNMon Oct 18 1993 18:4016
Well this seems like the best place for it.

Does anyone know of a babysitting circle in the Maynard, Acton,
Concord, Stow, Bolton, etc. area?

Alternately, is there anyone out there with an infant who would like
to trade sitting? We don't go out without our daughter often, so it
would not be that much time that we are looking to trade.

Our daughter is 3 months old and there is no way we're ready for the
"teenage sitter" scenario.

Thank you,

Karen
