    Well, this place has finally gotten to me and I just booked a trip to
    the Mid-Winter Gathering Feb 11-14 at Sunsport Gardens in West Palm 
    Beach, Florida.  
    
    The first day is spent at the nude beach in Miami..  I'm just praying
    for great weather!
    
    Anybody have too much accrued vacation time ;-) and want to join me?
    
    The flight round trip is $384, the gathering fees are minimal, $15 
    registration fee, $10/day grounds fee, $6/night camping.  I'm bringing 
    a tent, but there are other accomodations available.

	"the nude beach in Miami" ?! Do you mean South Beach, where toplessness is tolerated but there are a number of ooglers, or is there a bona fide nude beach that I don't know about? Sue

	As near as I can recall, it's Haulover Beach? Where police arrested some people last year around this time but it wasn't their jurisdiction to do so and charges were dropped or something. There's been no trouble since, I heard.. And yes, there's plenty of textiles in every direction who can look if they want to, but that's not apt to bother me. And it's definitely nude, not just topfree. The Naturist Society goes as a group and they haven't had a problem.
