438.0. "A place to sunbathe in NH or ME?" by BUSY::WROBERTS () Mon Aug 29 1994 14:49

    Hi,

Could anyone please tell me if there is a place to visit in New
Hampshire or Maine where I could go with my SO?

My back yard is OK but there just aren't enough hours of sunshine on
the pool this time of year.

    That sailing trip sounds awesome!!!

    Thanks

    Wil

    Hi!

Note #7 will give you known sites in NH and Mass. There may even be
some for Maine also. But I am unsure of that. ;)

Thanks soooooo much!!!;-) I'll check out note#7. One thing I'm
wondering though is do I hae to be a full fleged member to some of
these places? I don't live near enough to justify frequenting them
on a regular basis. This has always been a topic of interest to me but
never seriously persued it. I am now ready to move on and do what feels
    right for me.

Thanks Serenity and Neil for pointing me in the right direction. I hope
    to
become a more active member very soon.

For now, you can just casll me TL for (tan lines) ugh;-(

Wil,

I suggested (by mail) Cedar Waters and Solair to you. Cedar Waters does not
require membership (but it is very rigid about admitting only couples and
families). I believe that Solair allows you three visits and then requires that
you become a member if you want to keep attending.

The various beaches and other recreation sites are simply publicly accessible
sites.

    Wil,

It is not a sin to have tan lines. ;)

    Good luck in your quest!

    Serenity,

    I know it's not a sin but I'm very self-conscious about it. i don't
want to wait till next year but I'm thinking I'd be the only one
    there that has them now.

    Have a gr8 day;-)

Wil, not everyone has the opportunity to get out as much as they'd like. You
won't be unique. Sometimes it's hard to get outdoors other than on vacation.

Serenity, your ::Friends miss you. How are the knees (mine have been acting up a
LOT)

Thanks for the info Jim, I feel better about that I really do!! maybe
next year I could have a get together by the pool during the day. It's
quite private but would have to be sure the kids are away as they do
    not
see things as i do if you know what I mean. Wicked modest they are,
    didn't get it from moi;-)!!

To take this down the rathole further......;-)

I have the `farmer Jones tan' since I wear mainly t-shirts. So when we go to
VV or nude in Utah or while camping elsewhere, I look a little strange with my
blinding white shoulders and rest of my body. Bob has this cute white rearend.
;-)

Only those people that nude in the sun or a tanning booth on a very regular
basis has the no-tan-line look. There is a minority of these people at VV.
So you probably won't be alone in your tan-lined skin. :-) I've never had
a no-tan-line look.

    Hi Judy,

I remember you from this file back when, before I fell out of touch.
Glad to see a familliar face.;-0 OK, you know what i mean!!

Thanks for the thoughts/reflections, I'm now at ease and not
worrying at all about tan lines. I'll just be me and that is that!!;-)
    Right atitude?

    Thanks

Tan Lines, I used to be reasonable even all over, but currently have some
lighter areas. It dosn't take much time in a "bathing suit" to rebuild the
lines, and it seems to take forever to erase them.

Anyway I'm looking forward to the Southern hemisphere summer, and hopefully some
ultimate relaxation, goin' nude.

Peter.

PS. did you all enjoy your summer?

A little rat hole never hurt much and this is the most activity I've
seen in this file all summer. ;)

I am not embarrassed when I have tan lines, I don't get as much time in
the sun nude as I do clothed betimes, but it is not a really important
point in my life. I go nude because I am comfortable with it, not
because my body is tanned or not tanned all over. ;)

The summer has been good with the exception that I have been required
to work entirely too much of it. My short vacation was the first real
time off I had all summer. My group was missing several folks to STD.
It's fixed now, alot of contract people are training here.

My knee surgery went well, it is healing nicely, although it is still
not as strong as it was before the boo-boo. ;) Ah well, these things
    take time.
